Steven D. Larsen, MD, is a skilled pain management physician at Lynx Healthcare, a multi-disciplinary group with locations in Kennewick, Richland, and Spokane Valley, Washington.
Prior to his career in medicine, Dr. Larsen served as an interrogator and human intelligence collector in the United States Army, where he earned various accolades, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, 101st Airborne Division General's Coin, and Soldier of the Year honors.
In 2011, Dr. Larsen completed his Bachelor of Science in management at the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business in Provo, Utah. He then completed his Doctor of Medicine at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he was the recipient of the Award of Excellence Scholarship. While at OHSU, he was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Larsen went on to complete an internship at Intermountain Medical Center in 2016 and an anesthesiology residency at the University of Utah in 2019. Soon after, he started a pain management fellowship, also at the University of Utah.
Throughout his career, Dr. Larsen has amassed a wealth of research experience and contributed to numerous presentations and publications. He also routinely volunteers within the medical field and other arenas.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Larsen enjoys coaching competitive youth baseball and teaching Sunday School. He has been married to his wife, Noell, for fifteen years, and they have three children. Together, they like to play games, do artwork, cook, eat, read, and explore the great outdoors.
